Ortega Car Care

If you want honest, top-tier service, look no further than Ortega Car Care. The owner is incredibly pleasant and straightforward, which is getting harder to find these days. Kyle handled my vehicle and kept the communication completely air-tight the entire time texting, calling, and emailing me before, during, and after the job. He even sent pictures of the progress so I knew exactly what was going on. They tackled a major transmission service for me and had the truck back in my hands in under 24 hours. To top it all off, they threw in a free oil change. As someone who appreciates how a good small business operates, their transparency and efficiency are unmatched. They are a genuinely honest shop, and I look forward to bringing my vehicles back for all future service. Highly recommend.

You will NOT be able to find a more competent and honest car repair garage in Jacksonville … for that matter, within 100 miles of Jacksonville. Service with a smile and a handshake that guarantees your satisfaction. I only hesitate to give such a glowing review because I’m afraid they will get so busy I will be able to get an appointment. Try ‘em, you’ll like ‘em!

Ortega Car Care has been phenomenal with caring for my 2016 Camry and 2020 Corolla. As a customer for nearly 4 years, Bryon, Paul, and the crew have been honest with services needed for my cars. In addition to honest work, they have been very professional and does an excellent job of caring for my car fleet with reasonable pricing. Anyone needing car work to be done should give this shop a look.

I am writing to share my appreciation for the excellent service I recently received at Ortega Car Care. As a woman who is not mechanically inclined, I was concerned about bringing in my 17-year-old car, which had several issues. However, the staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. I called a couple of times with questions and things I had forgotten to mention, and the team was always patient and explained everything clearly. I especially appreciated the thorough bumper-to-bumper vehicle inspection report, including the photos and priority ratings for each item - especially the photo showing the screw in one of the tires. I highly recommend Ortega Car Care. The final price was very fair for the work completed, the work was done quickly and it actually came in lower than the upfront estimate I was provided. Thank you for the wonderful experience and for looking after my vehicle. I’ll definitely bring my car back to Ortega Car Care.

Bryon and Paul are fantastic. I’m incredibly selective about who touches my 2024 Mercedes Sprinter (Storyteller Beast Mode build), but these guys exceeded expectations. While an oil and fuel filter change sounds simple, newer Sprinters are notoriously finicky. They got me in immediately and performed the service perfectly—even nailing the oil level on the first try, which any Sprinter owner knows can be a challenge. The shop is spotless, the work is top-tier, and the pricing is honest and fair. It’s a relief to have such knowledgeable mechanics in the neighborhood.
